Anthony Cipriano

Anthony is a true New Yorker, born and raised in Manhattan, with roots dating back four generations to the Lower East Side where his great grandparents settled to be part of the American Dream. Anthony carries with him the classic blue collar approach - knowing that you have to work very hard - with integrity and honesty to succeed in life.

Anthony's education consists of being chosen as one of only two students to attend La Salle Academy High School on full academic scholarship in 1990, and he later graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management. Anthony is also working part-time on his MBA at NYU Stern School of Business.

A few years after college, Anthony travelled the globe as a world class DJ in his previous career with the music group "Cannibal Ox". Spending months at a time "on the road" experiencing the diversity of our nation and other nations, he has an understanding of many cultures and landscapes. Having this life experience, Anthony appreciates and respects what makes NYC so special. He believes that everyone should find maximum enjoyment living in NY!

In August 2006, with only 7 months Real Estate experience at the time, Anthony Cipriano was the sole agent invited to launch Beekman Street Realty. He gladly accepted this exciting new challenge. Anthony is heavily responsible for the initial and continuing success of Beekman Street Realty - getting the company up and running from the first day in business. As Senior Associate Broker, Anthony has been a mentor for the agents who have joined the company over the years, setting the example for professionalism and success.
Anthony is proud to have assisted thousands of people into their happy new homes. As an extremely productive broker specializing in rentals, Anthony has personally closed over 500 deals (and dozens more through special co-broking relationships and teamwork with other agents). As a well rounded individual, he is successful working in many different areas - and with properties at a great variety of price ranges - having rented apartments ranging in price from $750 to $10,000. Anthony has nearly 5 years of full time Real Estate experience, and he focuses on rentals and sales in NYC and Westchester. He can also help with retail and commercial needs.

With special attention to communication and efficiency, Anthony will never waste a client’s valuable time and energy. Apt shoppers, Landlords, Management Companies, coworkers, other brokers and tenants alike regard Anthony as an honest, "stand-up guy", who works diligently to serve the needs of others.

Previous work experience includes: Member of Executive Board of WFNP Radio Station, Sales Manager at WFNP - selling and supervising the sale of airtime radio ads to local businesses, Held an FM Radio show as DJ and host at WFNP station with over 500,000 potential listeners throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley; professional recording artist specializing in live battle-style DJ routines as well as providing music on several mass distributed records including Cannibal Ox, Aesop Rock, El-P, Vast Aire, Double AB, Atoms Family and several others; toured and performed live on stage with many popular acts including a collaboration with "The Roots" (the band on the Jimmy Fallon show); Restaurant Management/Marketing for Buffa's Delicatessen at 54 Prince Street; Dispatcher and then Operations Director at a mid-sized plumbing corporation; and Real Estate with Besen & Associates.
