A transplant from where he was raised in the rolling Berkshire hills of Massachusetts, Ron Ramsay is the quintessential "adopted" New Yorker. Having lived here for almost 25 years, he has seen NYC morph from the nitty-gritty of the early 80's to the glamour of today. His sense of the territory is unmatched after living in and experiencing firsthand nearly every neighborhood in Manhattan.
Ron began his real estate career in 2004 in the Relocation Office of Citi Habitats. After a successful run at Citi Habitats, he was hand-picked to join the team at Beekman Street Realty, eventually assuming the position of Managing Director in 2008.
A budding entrepreneur at the early age of 7, Ron began his professional career as a musician and singer that took him across the country in productions and concerts. High school brought him to the Dallas Performing Arts High School and college to the Manhattan School of Music in NYC.
While "making ends meet" as a young artist in the early 90's, Ron decided to make a name in the fitness industry. This would be an extremely profitable and popular venture for him, eventually becoming co-owner of such well-known exercise studios as "The Exercise Loft" in Manhattan and "FizzEd" in East Hampton. He was often featured as a fitness model and consultant in many national fitness and fashion magazines. In between Ron still found time to sing on the stages of Broadway, London's West End and in the historic performance of "Hair" in Russia just before the Wall came down.
Ron is a pro in the art of communication and straightforward honesty with his clients. Whether your needs are the snug bungalow or the mansion in the sky, his expertise will find you the perfect home with the least amount of stress and time wasted.
